We're a Yorkshire-based bookseller (Leeds) and are always wanting new stock. If you've got a collection of children's books (or indeed any books) to sell we may be interested in buying them from you. We specialise in modern first editions and rare books, what this means to you is that we know how much your books are worth. But rest assured - we won't offer 50p for a £100 book, we'll give you a fair price. By fair, we mean fair to you and fair to us. We generally pay somewhere between 30 and 60% of the market value of the book/collection. So you'll get a decent price (a lot of the time our fees are up to 25% of the sale price anyway). Hopefully this way everybody wins.
The way it normally works is we'll ask for a rough description of the books you have to sell, perhaps with dates. We'll also request photos, just to get an idea of what's on offer. Following this, we'll decide whether it's best then to come and have a look, or we may ask for more detailed description of particular books. Whatever works best.
If you're interested in finding out more then email us on firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 07557 652 609.
