London, Hodder & Stoughton, 1880s. Unbound. A group of contracts and letters involving transferral of copyright / acceptance for Stables' works. Including Frank Hardinge, Just Like Jack, "1888", Stanley Grahame, ABE Guide to Health, Cruise of the Snowbird, Wild Adventures, Special Service Boy's Adventures and a further set, somewhat more detailed, regarding The Princeton Review. From the archives of Hodder & Stoughton it would seem. Though not hugely popular a century and quarter later, Stables was a popular author in his day, one of a number of writers taking their lead from Jules Verne. His first editions are still collected today though and ephemera is scarce on the ground. [10004, Hyraxia Books].
