Farjeon's work was published widely in 1923 but privately in 1913 following serialisation in The Irish Review that same year. The present manuscript aligns closely with 1913 text suggesting that it predates that issue (which would make sense). A short fantasy. The MS appears complete with 228 holograph sheets, rectos only. Numerous corrections though no indication of which draft this is, if there were others. A fantastic piece. In excellent shape, just a touch tanned with some wear to the edges here and there.
