No Place, c1966. A lovely item. A 300mm x 255mm sketchbook filled with numerous illistrations and sketches, much of it preparatory work for Keeping's 1966 Black Dolly. Seven double page watercolours for Black Dolly, preparatory works differing widely from the final work but showing similarities. Following this are pages of text, storyboards, sketches and further watercolours. c30 pages. Offered with a near fine copy of Black Dolly. Keeping is perhaps best remembered now for providing the cover art for Garner's Elidor. Keeping's work is on display in the Keeping Gallery, and also the Tate. A lovely piece. [10038, Hyraxia Books].
