MacDonald's heavily corrected manuscript for a seemingly unpublished work (MacDonald did publish a St George tale in 1944, though it appears to be a different tale to this title. The author has heavily amended the manuscript throughout. 234pp typed, rectos only. Mostly in decent shape, with some tears and a fair bit of creasing. Also with the ms are the remains of the envelope MacDonald used to send the book to Dutton in New York (who presumably rejected it) and a note on card describing the ms. [10166, Hyraxia Books].
