A technological utopia (c.f. the more common tech dystopia) set a few hundred years hence in Africa, with marvels such as irrigating the Sahara. Uncommon. No copies located in commerce, a few in libraries. Putnam published the US issue in the same year. Bindings a little loose and shaken, looks like labels have been removed from the upper boards but no further signs of library history. Some splitting to the paper at the hinges, but the strings are holding tight. The leaves are clean and unfoxed. Spines a little sunned and top edges dusted. Tips bumped. A rare set.
