London, Arthur Pearson, 1919. First edition, first impression. Hardback. A very good copy. Bound in more recent plain cloth. The first title appears to be a proof of sorts as the Peason title page is a template with the title pasted on. The Devil's Double is a proof also, having been marked up throughout, probably by the author. Laid in are a pair of adverts for the publication (a little foxed and edge worn). Some tanning to the leaves, but largely in good shape. [10240, Hyraxia Books].
