London, Hutchinson, 1936. First edition, first impression. Hardback. A very good copy. Signed by the author to the title page without inscription. Bears the ownership inscription of Gladys Stourton (Somerset de Chair and John Stourton, Gladys' husband, were both Tory MPs). A satire on the labour party. Slight lean to the spine, some bumping to the tips, rubbing to the jacket and a few nicks. Large scuff to the spine, probably from removing the price. Jacket has been backed with thick paper.
