Dublin, William Curry, 1843. First edition, first impression. Hardback. A very good copy. A seemingly farcical book, maybe with a Quixotic tinge. But, also an inter-planetary device too, given that people seems to live on the moon etc. Anyway, I haven't read enough of it to form a decent opinion. Bound in half calf. Some heavy scuffing to the boards and leather, some chipping to the spine and tearing / peeling to the leather. A bit worn overall, but internally excellent just with some offsetting from the plates. Owner's inscription on the endpaper. Illustrations by Phiz [10516, Hyraxia Books].
