London, Collins, 1943. First edition, first impression. Hardback. A very good copy. Inscribed by the author to Grant Richards.  The jacket is a little nicked to the top of the spine and has a 15mm tear there also, a couple of punctures to the lower panel. Book itself in nice shape, just a little flimsy given the wartime production. Cover art by A.E. Barlow [10725, Hyraxia Books].
