No Place [Milton Brodie], No Publisher, 1906. Manuscript. A good copy. Stage script for Brodie-Innes' production The Mummy Awakened. Brodie-Innes is all but forgotten nowadays, as is her husband J.W. Brodie Innes, the occultist and author. The present script is noted 'copy B', and signed by the author. 25pp, typed, single-sided, with corrections. Laid in is an envelope titled The Milton Brodie Comedy Co. in The Mummy Awakened (Milton Brodie was the Brodie-Innes' estate). The envelope contains serveral photos of the cast in costume. Also laid in is a sheet of printed music "Bunk-a-Doodle" by Victor Norman. The score is heavily worn, and there's a fair bit of wear to the rest, but given the item it doesn't detract.
