No Place, No Publisher, 1932. Manuscript. Original title The Benoni Monster of North Borneo (Rutter served in Borneo). 99pp holograph, rectos only. Bound at the front is a 10pp typescript (rectos) for a film treatment, preceded by a dozen pages in autograph. After the 99pp of text is some typical Rutter scrapbooking. Pasted in are an invitation and booklet for an Ernest Benn Authors Luncheon, paper clippings, postcards, and ten or so letters to Rutter. Further, not pasted, are more clippings, postcards, letters to Rutter's wife from publishers, and a Benn broadside of sorts. Very good in custom binding, 210mm x 340mm.
