London, Gollancz, 1984. First edition, first impression. Hardback. A fine copy. A superb association copy. Inscribed by the author to Malcolm Edwards, and dated 3:02 AM on new year's day! Malcolm Edwards was the SF publisher / editor at Gollancz, and 1984 was a fantastic year for Gollancz. Malcolm was responsible for publishing Neuromancer, Mythago Wood, and Empire of the Sun in that year (I think in the same month). So a new year's eve message is a nice tying off of a fantastic year. Also included are three typed sheets of corrections, with the first sheet signed by Sladek. A nice copy, with a little bumping to the spine tips. [11175, Hyraxia Books].
