Philadelphia, Prime Press, 1947. First edition, first impression. Hardback. A near fine copy. A superb association copy, or rather, associations copy. The book is firstly inscribed by the author to Theodore Sturgeon. Sturgeon has then inscribed the book to A. Bertram Chandler. Both inscriptions are on the title page. And finally, ABC has signed the book, with his address, to the endpaper and placed his plate there too. Supplied jacket is clipped and has minor edge wear, and a couple of short tears. Spine tips bumped and a little soiling to the plain red boards. No titles or text etc to the boards, so perhaps a early issue? [11210, Hyraxia Books].
