London, Michael Joseph, 1962. First edition, first impression. Hardback. A very good copy. Signed by the author without inscription. Also with an ownership inscription from Grace Berger (Berger was, like Lessing, an activist against apartheid in South Africa, and both lived in Zimbabwe for a while). A few short tears to the jacket and some minor chipping, boards a little dinted and tired, but all in all a nice copy. [11266, Hyraxia Books].
