London, Bodley Head, 1921. First Thus. Hardback. A very good copy in a good jacket. A landmark work of comic fantasy, taking the reader to heaven and hell, and visiting Arthurian legend. An important work that was banned at the time of production. Influenced both Heinlein and Pratchett. A great production not often found in the dustjacket. The jacket is worn quite heavily to the edges with a few chips and a lengthy tear to the rear. The book is well preserved, with bumping to the spine tips and foxing to the foreedge, bleeding in a little. One of 3000 copies. Illustrations by Frank C. Pape [11317, Hyraxia Books].
