Collects 42 short stories, some crime, some weird and some ghost stories. Currey notes a catalogue to the rear of his copy dated April 1880, his copy is in grey cloth, Locke notes the same in Spectrum (vI p82). Nothing to suggest this is anything other than another issue or state of the same. Condition: some discolouration to the boards, with a little bumping and edge wear. Spine tips worn. Soem gatherings a little shaken.
