The seventh novel (of eleven) by the master of the ?metaphysical Gothic? novel Phyllis Paul, all of which are scarce in first edition. A little spotting to the foreedge, and some rubbing and light wear to the jacket. Paul (1903-1973), of which little is known, took a very literary approach to her supernatural fiction.
