Love and Mirage takes up all of volume one and most of volume two, thereafter follow three short stories. Boards rubbed, some toning to the spines and bumping and wear to the corners and spine tips. Ownership inscription. 24pp ads to the rear. Matilda Betham-Edwards (1776-1852) was a travel-writer, novelist, poet and children's author. She was a friend of Dickens and the Lambs.
