London, Faber & Faber, 1933. First edition, first impression. Hardback. A very good copy. The author's annotated copy, with his corrections throughout - some quite sizeable. Probably around 50% of the pages have annotations. The pictures describe it best. Some chipping to the jacket, and some bumping to the spine tips and corners. A few closed tears, the longest ~20mm. Walter de la Mare (1873-1956) is best remembered now for his short tales in the supernatural genre and was well regarded by Lovecraft. Illustrations by Rex Whistler [11563, Hyraxia Books].
