A future history story set in 1887 in Melbourne of the Dis-United States, telling of events in 1857. A comet visits earth and civilisation topples with blacks taking control as they're better able to handle the heat from the comet apparently! An interesting tale, satirical in tone and thick with reference. An uncommon piece and of particular interest examining race, religion and contemporary society. Limp covers, binding a touch shaken with some gatherings holding, but not overly happy about it. AEG. Small stain to lower margin, and some separation to the hinges. [11571, Hyraxia Books].
