A few areas of wear and a small red stain transferred from the cloth. Leaves tanned as is common. Diana Wynne Jones (1934-2011) was one of Britain's most important children's writers, inspiring a generation of children's fantasy writers including Pratchett, Gaiman, Pullman and many more.
