Aickman and Howard were having an open affair that both party's spouses were aware of. The first letter is from Aickman to Howard with an envelope addressed to Mrs Peter Scott at the Seymour Hotel in New York. Dated 28th March 1946. Four sides, autograph. The second letter is a reply from Howard dated 23rd June 1946, without envelope. Large tear to the right hand side. There's some general chat in the letters, but a good portion of it is declarations of love. [11708, Hyraxia Books].
