Large chip to the lower spine tip of the jacket, a few knocks and bumps elsewhere. Large ragged tear to the lower jacket, with associated creasing, all fixed with aged tape; essentially the section has been detached and reattached, with a few bits of loss. Pretty ugly. A little edge wear. Some toning. Lord Dunsany (1878-1957) was a prolific writer and one of the architects of what has now cemented itself as the fantasy genre. His work, along with Eddison, Macdonald and Morris, was key in creating the channels from folklore and mythology to entirely synthetic secondary worlds. [11805, Hyraxia Books].
