Wells' first collection, gathering 15 short pieces of fantasy and sf, mostly published earlier in the Pall Mall magazines. Some bumping to the spine tips and a little rubbing, light offsetting to endpapers and a small collector's plate to the front pastedown. Slight lean. Faded owner's inscription to the rear pastedown.
