I have no idea what this book is about, but a brief view of the contents page suggest that it may well be devastatingly boring. Chapter XII is entitled John Freeman Resigns The Keys, Chapter X is The Alderman's Wooing. It may get racy around chapter ten, but I vehemently refuse to even scan through the leaves to find out; I'll leave that up to you. It might have spirits in there, or cold-blooded murder, who knows. Some light wear to the wrappers, spine creased and split but binding tight overall. First and last few leaves heavily toned / foxed, some peeling to the paper covers covering the boards.
