A collection of tales including: 'The Man Machine; or, The Pupil of Circumstances', 'The Perfection of Reason', and 'The Perfection of Science'. The first tale is sort of dystopia / cacotopia, the second two are satires. "Edited by the author of John Bull in America." Leather rubbed and worn, boards scuffed. Small plate to the front pastedown, crossed-out name to the endpaper verso. Marginal tears to the first two leaves, large chip to the first leaf of text (not affecting the text).
