Jacket chipped and worn, with toning and edge wear. Two small areas of loss to the top edges, connected by creasing. Internally neat with just a little lean and some bumping to the spine tips. Frederick Albert Mitchell-Hedges was an English explorer and adventure, there's speculation that he was the inspiration for Indiana Jones, but there's little evidence for this; more likely the pulp heroes that likely inspired Indy were in turn inspired by Mitchell-Hedges.
