London, Effingham Wilson, 1837. First edition, first impression. Hardback. A very good copy. A rare Dickens parody on the fashionable styles of 'Life in London'. Authorship not certain. Boards rubbed and worn, hinges cracking a little, but still holding well enough. Leaves marked and stained, mostly the first 20 or so. Owner's ink inscription, some foxing to the plates. Illustrations by Andrew Crookenshanks' [11900, Hyraxia Books].
