New York, Bunnell & Price, 1852. First edition, first impression. Hardback. A very good copy. An examination of Richard Adams Locke's Moon Hoax of 1835, wherein he claimed that civilised life had been discovered on the moon. Griggs was a friend of Locke's. A little rubbing to the boards with a small chip to the head of the spine. Internally neat with a couple of spots and an ownership inscription. [11972, Hyraxia Books].
