Though interestingly he has it as 1905 published by Griffin, though notes that as unverified. Locke [Spectrum, I:152] notes that the Griffin edition is 1909 and a second issue. The present copy is the first issue / first edition. "Science fiction set in the near future in which a spacecraft voyages to interstellar space. It finds the remains of a dead, advanced civilization on a planet wandering in space, visits Sirius before returning to the solar system. There it removes an asteroid from its orbit and places it in orbit round the earth as a second moon, where its tidal action causes disasters." [Locke, I:152].
