Dublin (and London), William Curry, Jun. and Company / Simpkin and Marshall, 1833. Second Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A very good copy. The first year's issues of the magazine that introduced J. Sheridan Le Fanu to the world, and of which he became editor. All six plates present, volume one states 'second edition' on the title page. This appears to be common, presumably the magazine was reissued for the binding. Author attributions are mostly initials, where present, so some detective work required. Too early for Le Fanu, alas. Bindings a little shaking with some pulling to the hinges, holding by the string in a couple of places. Cloth a touch rubbed, top edges dusty. Internally neat, with some foxing to the last few leaves. [12003, Hyraxia Books].
