Edinburgh, William Blackwood, 1865-1868. Two volumes. Bound in full calf, AEG, raised bands, marbled endpapers, detailing. A nice binding. Some spotting inside, leather a little rubbed, but largely in very decent shape. Inscribed in volume one: "To C.M.W. Hughes \ from his affectionate cousin \ ?. ?. Worsley \ February 8th 1872", and in volume two "C.M.W. Hughes \ February 8th 1872." Worsley provided the bulk of the translation, but died before the second volume was publisher whereafter Connington took over. Given the dates, the inscription is not that of the author, though likely someone related to him
