New York, Doran, 1920. First Edition. First Impression. A lovely copy in the dust jacket. I must stop right now and state that if I were publishing a book called "The Slayer of Souls", my choice of jacket art would be markedly different - come on Doran. Anyway, the jacket's in good shape, despite being dull and uninspiring. Some paper tape reinforcement to the jacket inside. Rubbing elsewhere and a little edge wear but largely a decent copy. The book has a little light staining to the jacket and a number of date stamps to the endpaper. Contemporary newspaper review laid in. Text block browned. A presentable copy of a late Chambers title.
