Chicago, A.L.Burt & Co. / A.C.Clurg & Co., 1930. First Edition. Later Impression. Likely a first edition book (acorn on copyright page as per Currey p102) in a later jacket. Given the quantity of books advertised on every square inch of the jacket rear and inside, the assumption is that this is how it was issued (confused a little by the A.L. Burt on the jacket spine). The first impression jacked is the same except the background is white, not black. Tape burn to top of spine, reinforced to inside of jacket with paper tape. Tape burn to rear top. Some toning and soiling. Book very good. [5758, Hyraxia Books].
