New York, Harry N. Abrams, 1988. Second Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A lovely copy. Signed by Cage to the title page without inscription. Cage is best known for his minimalist music, in particular, 4'33'' a piece without instruments (essentially silence, though you do get a little static on vinyl, the MP3 is tiresome). Lois Long was an illustrator (not to be confused with Lipstick, the writer for the New Yorker), and provided, I believe, the illustrations. A nice little book, price clipped but otherwise in excellent shape. Previously published in 1983 in a limited edition. [6581, Hyraxia Books].
