New York, DAW, c. 1974. Original Artwork measuring 216mm x 279mm (mount), 105mm x 180mm (painting). An early test for the cover of the seventh Dray Prescott book by Alan Burt Akers (Ken Bulmer). This wasn't ultimately used for the final design, rather it was Gaughan experimenting with the design and shows a progression to the final image. Illustrations by Jack Gaughan [7165, Hyraxia Books].
