London, Chatto & Windus, 1932. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A lovely copy in a fine, supplied jacket. Brave New World is one of the foundational works of science fiction. Along with Nineteen Eighty-Four, Brave New World is one of the two best-known dystopias [Pringle, 45]. A classic and a cornerstone in a well-rounded speculative fiction collection. The book has a slight lean, some bumping to the spine tips and a little lightening to the topstain. Boards a touch bowed. The jacket, on the other hand is magnificent. Marred only by two small chips to the lower spine, the jacket is a a superior example. The colour is bright, as issued, throughout. Flaps are bright, and unstained. An excellent example.
