London, Weidenfeld & Nicolson, 1953. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A very good copy. Inscribed by Asimov. One of the highlights of science fiction writing. . Infrequently found in the UK and inscribed. The inscription reads 'For Bill Savill \ who reads English \ as easily as American \ Isaac Asimov'. Asimov famously disliked flying, so the majority of British editions that were signed would've had to make the journey west first. The present copy bears the stamp of the New England Science Fiction Association (NESFA) and is from their collection. Jacket is worn, with a few chips, sticker remnants to the spine, and a little soiling. Book is a little tired with some bumping to the spine tips. A little foxing. Publication date written in biro to rear. [7338, Hyraxia Books].
