London, Allison & Busby, 1973-1974. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. Three [3] Volumes, complete. The second of the two Corum trilogies. All three books are inscribed by Moorcock to John Baxter, writer and collector, on the endpapers and also signed without inscription to the title pages. A nice set. The books are in very good condition, Book one has a little toning to the edges, is price-clipped, has a little bumping to the spine tips and a stamp on the endpaper 'Caloola School'. A couple of ink marks over a previous seller's price. Book two has a little similar toning to the jacket edges and some limited wear. Book three is a little more toned to the jacket. The inscriptions read, in order, 'For John Baxter's Copy \ I think these were the \ first heroic fantasies I sold \ directly as hardbacks at \ Allison and Busby's Request. \ All best \ Mike \ 5th Sept 05 \ Paris', 'To John - \ I'd started to run \ out of phallic bibles by \ the time I got to this \ series \ All best \ Mike \ Paris 5th Sept 05' and 'To John Baxter - \ I got Keith Roberts \ to do the covers for this \ and the others in the sequence \ All very best \ Mike \ Paris \ 5 XI 05'.
