New York, F. Tennyson Neely, 1895. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A very good copy. An important book in the weird / supernatural genre. Likely the third issue / state / printing. The exact chronology of the early issues has never been quite pinned down, but it's commonly agreed that the first two in the chronology were bound in green cloth. This is in some regards preferable as the cover artwork is by Chambers. Decent externally, with a few bumps and pushes here and there. A little roughly to the fore-edge. Tear to tissue-guard, a little webbing showing at the front hinge. A decent copy. [7490, Hyraxia Books].
