London, Geo B. Whittaker, 18-25-1828. Third, First and First Edition. Hardbacks. A very good copy. Three [3] volumes, lacking fourth and fifth series. Given that the book's a series of sketches, the two absent volumes don't make the book any less readable and it's not uncommon to find them split as they were published over about a decade or so. Quarter bound in black morocco. Marbled boards. Book one is the third edition, books two and three are first editions. Internally neat with a little offsetting, some foxing and contemporary ownership signatures to each title page. [7563, Hyraxia Books].
