An important novel, adapted numerous times in various formats. The jacket is price-clipped but otherwise complete without tears, and just a little pushing and rubbing to the edges. The book is very good with some bumping to the spine tips and lower edge, a seller's sticker to the front pastedown and a neat inscription to the front free endpaper. The two pastedowns have clearly had something glued to them at somepoint - perhaps an old jacket protector. Some offsetting here too. Other than that, a very presentable copy.
