n.d. [c1915]. Manuscript. Unbound. A very good copy. Collingwood's original manuscript for an apparently unpublished novel. Harry Collingwood was a pseudonym for William Joseph Cosens Lancaster, best known for his naval fiction and science fiction novel The Log of the Flying-Fish (and its sequels). Percival Lancaster was Collingwood's son. We can find no records for the present title, which follows an imaginary romance of Mary Magdalene. The mss comprises 197 typed leaves, typed on recto only. Smaller contents page bound in. Numerous corrections and amendments (nothing major) throughout. Hand bound with string in a card wrapper. 290x225x25mm. From the collection of George Locke. Condition is very good, wrappers heavily worn, correction strip to first leaf [7897, Hyraxia Books].
