London, Jarrolds, 1952. First Edition. First Impression. Hardback. A fine copy. Inscribed by Dunsany thus 'To Henrietta from Uncle Eddie to wish her a happy Christmas 1956'. The Henrietta in question is most likely Henrietta Phipps, daughter of Henry Lamb. Lamb's wife, Lady Pansy Lamb nee Pakenham, was related to the sister of Dunsany's wife. A nice association. A fine copy, with little signs of age. Spine tips a little bumped and a price sticker over the printed price on the front flap. [7904, Hyraxia Books].
