In what is a rare occurrence, this work of fantasy was included in Harold Bloom's 'Western Canon', one of only a handful of such books. This hardback edition issued simultaneously with the wraps edition. [Pringle, Modern Fantasy: The Hundred Best Novels, p211]. A fine copy. Cover art by Pat Doyle [8009, Hyraxia Books].
