London, A.K. Newman & Co., 1841. First Edition. First Impression. Hardbacks. A good copy. Three [3] volumes complete. Very uncommon Gothic triple-decker. Three copies located in libraries [BL, Cambridge, Virginia], copies located online all seem to be this particular same set of the triple-decker, with the same flaws so certainly quite rare. There's very little information out there about the author or her other titles, beyonf her being a contributor to The Lady's Magazine. Condition: The bindings are all worn, quite heavily in places. Some losses to the spines and rubbing to the boards. Edges heavily knocked, torn and worn. Spines creased. Top inch of title page sliced off. Some toning to the leaves. Owner's inscription to leaves of last two volumes. [8383, Hyraxia Books].
