London, Gollancz, 1929. Proof. Paperback. A near fine copy. A very rare proof copy, rarer still given that it's been inscribed by Visiak to P.L. Judge and dated 30th August. This precedes the book's publication in October. Likely therefore amongst the first signed copies of Visiak's best known work. The inscription reads "P.L. Judge from E.H. Visiak August 30th 1929 (2am or thereabouts)". Spine very toned, with handmade label. A wonderful book. [8534, Hyraxia Books].
