London, Heinemann, 1930. First Edition, First Impression. Hardback. A near fine copy. Inscribed by Wells thus 'Vyvyan B. Holland, a present from H.G. Wells'. Holland was a writer, and the son of Oscar Wilde. The jacket is in excellent shape with a little fading to the red on the spine, and some rolling to the jacket edges. 10mm tear to lower rear jacket. 15mm tear to lower front. The book itself is in excellent shape with some bumping to the spine tips. For some reason, a trimmed copy of the jacket has been folded and pasted into the book. Not a problem really, just odd. A little foxing to the foreedge. [8934, Hyraxia Books].
