London, Cassell, 1936. First edition, first impression. Hardback. Near fine in the excellent Paul Nash jacket. Lengthy inscription to the front endpaper from the author to a Miss Leeds, who presumably was some assistant or other to Sieveking. Very uncommon. No copies located in commerce, three copies located in COPAC (not apparently at the BL). Near fine, some toning to the spine, evidence of a price sticker over the printed price on the spine. Some chipping to the jacket and a little fading to the board edges. A few short tears neatly taped to the jacket interior. Cover art by Paul Nash [9160, Hyraxia Books].
